| Responsibilities |

The Center is composed of five departments that are responsible for the following: |
1- Documentation and Libraries Department:
- collecting, organizing and documenting Laws and Regulations;
- using most up-to-date documentation techniques (Microfilm);
- circulating selective information and topics regarded as significant by decision makers. |
2- Information and Statistics Department:
- identifying SAMS needs for data and information;
- gathering, revising, and analyzing the data required using specially designed statistic records and forms;
- conducing statistical studies; |
3- Computer Department:
- designing and operating programs, and testing the required outputs;
- entering and revising data, and managing database;
- operating database and obtaining required information and indices;
- securing the stored information;
- developing systems and programs used on database;
- designing and operating maintenance program. |
4- Publications Department:
- publishing a monthly release on the Center;
- publishing booklets or reports on the Center activities;
- determining the contents of the Information Release |
5- Decision Making Support Department:
- examining the issues referred to by SAMS President, reviewing results and alternatives to be considered when making decisions;
- identifying, and studying problems and collecting relevant data;
- analyzing data, previewing alternatives and setting priorities;
- designing and following up the decision implementation plan;
- acting as a coordinator for the parties responsible for implementing the decision, and monitoring its outcomes. |
